Lost Jewish Gospels
The unusual term “bread of tomorrow” alludes to the banquet of the Messianic Era. The fourth petition of the Our Father prayer is about more than just food, sustenance, and material provision. When we ask God for “the bread of tomorrow,” we are petitioning him to let us taste the goodness of redemption today.
The Torah says, “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13), but the Master says that anger, hatred, insult, and public humiliation are tantamount to murder. Two forgotten sayings of Yeshua further illustrate his teaching. He warned His disciples that murder begins with anger in the heart.
