Yeshua came proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, but what exactly is the kingdom? What happened to the message of the kingdom? Why did the church lose that hope? Could it have been because the kingdom is too Jewish? This lecture focuses our hope on the final redemption and argues for a premillennial interpretation of the coming of Messiah. It also explores the history of Christianity's amillennial eschatology using quotations from ancient sources and modern scholars like N.T. Wright as we try to figure out how the church fathers lost sight of the kingdom and the original message of the gospel.
