In support of the Torah Club community during the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, we are making a temporary online provision to give direct access to Torah Club workbooks and Portion Connections videos to all Torah Club Members.
We will make this available while social distancing rules are still in effect and reassess the situation regularly. The priority of Torah Club is gathering in a physical location, growing in friendships, community, and learning. We encourage our clubs to continue to meet when possible. If a physical gathering is not possible, then we encourage connecting online through one of the recommended free private services such as Zoom, Skype, Facetime, etc.
Students can now access Portion Connections and electronic versions of the workbooks in the “Student Pages” section on the Torah Club website at torahclub.org. When a student signs in and access their profile drop-down menu, they will now see an option for “Portion Connections” and “Student Workbooks.” Students will have the option to download and print the Student Workbooks.
As we face this challenge, we need to trust HaShem together and exercise the necessary precautions. Specifically, we encourage “social distancing” practiced currently. One of our staff members noted that we should consider it a mitzvah (good deed) on the level of saving a life to do everything we can to slow this virus down. The main thing we can do to slow the virus down is social distancing.
Our staff will continue to send updates as needed. Please stay safe, err on the side of caution, and let’s remain diligent in prayer.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
