“Jesus, My Rabbi is my go-to commentary on the New Testament. What I love about First Fruits of Zion is it’s always accessible, relevant, and Biblical.”Dr. Robby Gallaty
Senior Pastor, Long Hollow Baptist Church
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” (Matthew 5:17)
Consider this enigmatic verse. What does this mean? Do the terms "abolish" and "fulfill" have some significance that isn't obvious to us today? The answer is "yes."
The word "fulfill" doesn't mean that Jesus kept the Torah so we don't have to. It means that Jesus kept the Torah to show us how it's done. His teachings don't replace the Torah; they explain the Torah.
At Torah Club, we believe that learning the historical, linguistic, Jewish context of Jesus is critical to developing into a mature and effective disciple.
That’s why we’ve spent almost thirty years researching the depths of Jewish and early Christian teachings, history, and linguistics to create “Jesus, My Rabbi,” an in-depth group study of the Gospels from an authentic Jewish viewpoint.
We want disciples of Jesus to thrive!
